Donate  via the June Jones Foundation

The June Jones Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for needy families of children with life-threatening illnesses as well as other charitable causes. 

Founded by former Hawaii Warrior football head coach June Jones, the Foundation will also work with other nonprofit organizations with similar missions, such as The Brian Kajiyama Heart of a Warroior Scholarship.

Checks:

  1. Write Check out to the June Jones Foundation

  2. Mention "Heart of a Warrior" or "Brian Kajiyama's Warrior Scholarship" in the memo line. Failure to do so will withhold money from this Scholarship.

  1. Where does my donation go?

    • Donations are managed by the June Jones Foundation. Money can be used primarily for tuition at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

  2. Is my donation a tax write off?

    • The June Jones Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation. So, donations are tax write offs!

  3. How is a student chosen?

    • Please see the Scholarship Details page for more info. Must meet minimum requirements, enrolled in a UH Manoa Undergraduate program, and submit an application along with the essay.

  4. Does Brian Kajiyama receive any of the scholarship fund?

    • Absolutely not, all donations will go to scholarship recipients.

  5. ​Who handles the students applications?

    • ​All applications are to be completed and mailed to Heart of a Warrior Scholarship, c/o College of Education, Wist Hall #1201776 University Ave, Honolulu, HI 96822. The applications are then submitted, by a scholarship organizer, to a blind review by our committee members.
